This Weekend...
This weekend, we're going back to where it all began... Genesis. God created Heaven and Earth. He created day and night, light and dark. He created animals and plants. He created humans. Everything was good. The garden had perfect unity, but then, sin destroyed it. Sin drove Adam and Eve to hide from God. Sin drove Adam and Eve to lie to God. Sin drove Adam and Eve to selfishness. Ultimately, Sin drove Adam and Eve away from God. But God drew near. Join us this week as we look at how sin drives us away from God, but God draws near to us.
On The Horizon

Student Night of Worship
Hey Students! Get ready for an unforgettable night! On March 2nd, CTW Students are throwing a worship event just for YOU! Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years or you’re just curious about what it’s all about, this is the night to be here! We’ll be diving into the theme "Made for More."

Parent Collab
Technology has transformed our lives, but this transformation comes with serious consequences for mental health—especially for our children. In our digital age, the convenience of constant connectivity and instant access to information often mask the hidden costs of prolonged screen time. Research increasingly shows that excessive use of digital devices can lead to heightened levels of anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances among young people.
For many kids, the digital world is not just a source of entertainment but also a space where pressures to perform, constant comparison, and cyberbullying are all too common. The very tools that connect us can also isolate us, replacing meaningful face-to-face interactions with superficial online exchanges. This shift can erode self-esteem and contribute to feelings of loneliness and inadequacy.
In our upcoming Parent Collab seminar, we will focus on these critical challenges. We’ll examine how excessive technology use may be undermining our children’s emotional well-being and discuss practical strategies to help mitigate these risks. Join us as we explore the darker side of digital convenience and work together to support our kids’ mental health in this ever-connected world.
P.S. This is a free event!

Stay In The Know
We realize emailing students information just isn't realistic. So, we're giving them the option for us to text them instead. If your student would like to join our text list, please have them text the word Students to 734-600-9036. If you would like to join our parent text list, please text the word Parent to 734-600-9036. Then, save this number in your contacts as CTW Students so you know it is in the future. This will be used to send announcements, like this news page, and make sure you are up to date on all things Student Ministry.
