Join us this Christmas Eve for a truly special Family Christmas Eve Service!
With all the excitement that fills this season, the lights, the parties, the traditions, and the gifts, it’s easy to get swept up in the fun. Everyone loves a beautifully decorated tree, a house full of laughter, and the joy of giving and receiving presents.
We love the thrill of watching kids (and adults!) tear into gifts—new clothes, long-awaited toys, and surprises that make smiles stretch from ear to ear. These moments are wonderful blessings! But as much joy as they bring, the excitement eventually fades. Clothes are outgrown, toys lose their shine, and gadgets end up forgotten in a garage sale. They’re good gifts…but they’re not the kind of gift that changes your life.
But there is one gift that does.
A gift that never wears out, never fades, and never loses its wonder.
A gift that changes everything.
The gift of Jesus.
This Christmas Eve, come celebrate the gift that brings hope to the world and transforms every heart it touches. Let’s gather as a church family and remember why Christmas is the greatest story of love ever given.

Christmas Offering
Each year, we take a special offering called a Christmas Offering to help support ministry at Church of The Way. Through the 2025 Christmas offering, we provided families with food, housing, and emergency support with bills. Over $27,000 was given to bless over 27 families and individuals. We also hosted City Serve with over 200 volunteers going out into the community to share the love of Jesus. We had over 20 projects throughout all of Downriver, making a difference in the name of Jesus. As we pray about 2026, we are excited to see how God is going to continue to use CTW to serve families, the community, and the people who call this place home. Below are the two areas the Christmas Offering will be supporting. You will also find the opportunity to give below, with the option to select the Christmas offering.
Benevolence
The Church is a family, and anytime someone within the family is in need, the church should be the first place they come to. Through the generosity of the Christmas offering, we are able to support anyone in the family who needs help with basic necessities. As the church family grows, so do the needs, so half of this year's Christmas offering will go to support those in need.
Community Engagement
City Serve is already on the calendar for 2026, and we are super excited to partner with new people, families, and organizations to make an impact in Downriver. From schools to other non-profits to foster families, CTW was all over the area, serving and making Jesus known. Half of the 2026 Christmas offering will support City Serve's varied projects throughout the Downriver Community.
